rats glittering like diamonds
and blisters in your spirit
fire to keep you forever facing forward

…some days you want to trade it all for a Cadillac and a fat checking account…
words that love to linger on the darker side of these realities…
I’ve noticed over time that my musings, no matter how humorous or witty they may be upon genesis, always wind up wading into the deep end of the pool. Subtly or swiftly my words and I always stroll over to walk along the darker, more serious side. For those of you that know me…this might be a shock…hehehe
I suppose this depressive nature, this violent enslaving and keeping of the peace is food for these melodramatic prose.

Intrigues me, reminds me mostly of what’s ‘wrong’ in this world
It makes everyone jealous for all the wrong reasons
everyone wants to be Napoleon
Everyone wants their 15 minutes and lots of money for it
Fuck the 15 minutes, fuck the Napoleons
where’s my lots of money?
It’s just me, ego, some spirit and my make-believe here at the moment.
I figure we’d take the time out to appreciate and pay heed to the finer things in life like poetry and sunsets, music and wine, roses and wristwatches, shoelaces and cable TV.
Yes! With all thats going on in this world…presidential elections here in the USA, war in the middle east, crazy religious zealots running amok, 600 Starbuck’s stores closng down and the usual spiritual decadence here in sunny/smoggy Southern California it can be hard to remain happy within your corner of all this madness…. (or maybe your blind or content or crazy….anyways….)
Llet’s give a ‘cheers’, a ‘fuckin aye!’ to all the beautiful pieces of puszzle in this sweet life.
Never lose sight of it, however carefully or maniacally you must tread between your shores of reason, faith and passion.
