What other protection does a unrecognised, rejected, (if I had been recognised, my father should have been jailed, but that was not allowed by advocate-general Cappuyns) thalidomide monster like me have against the murderous Welfare State?

Cappuyns was the public prosecutor in the 1962 Liège, Belgium (me also born Belgium), court case were the murderers of a thalidomide monster born in May 1962 were only acquitted of having murdered the monster, not of having created the monster. (In Liège, the accused were not even accused of having created the monster, which was probably the correct stance over there. My father, Hendrik Henri Cerckel, an M.D., however had not been allowed by his parents to marry the woman he wanted.)

What’s the problem? The difference between tax, or “fiscality”, and theft is that the thief does not come back periodically, nor does the thief pretend to be stealing in the public interest.

Grünenthals Eignerfamilie Wirtz verfügt über ein geschätztes Gesamtvermögen von ca. 3,3 Milliarden Euro aufweist. Da ist es verwunderlich, dass sie den Grünenthal-Opfern durchschnittlich nur ca. 18000 Euro (1,50 Euro pro Opfer und Tag) als Entschädigung zahlen will. Warum will Familie Wirtz eigentlich, das der Steuerzahler für alle Kosten der contergangeschädigten Menschen aufkommen soll?

Es überlebten in Deutschland bis heute etwa 2800 Conterganopfer. Grünenthals Eignerfamilie Wirtz wollte das Medikament Contergan aus Profitgründen nicht vom Markt nehmen, obwohl ihr 1600 Warnungen bezüglich der Missbildungen durch Contergan vorlagen. Familie Wirtz sollte sich deshalb bei ihren schwerbehinderten Opfern entschuldigen. Das wäre ein wichtiger erster Schritt. Zudem sollte sie alle Gesprächsangebote von Betroffenenverbänden endlich annehmen.
