Dass ein Waschpülverchen-Vertrieb (Dali) keine Forschung an Medikamenten betreibt, will niemand bezweifeln.
Aber dass das Unternehmen ein Unternehmen ist, dass sich im Besitz der Familie Wirtz befindet, sollte Grund genug sein, es in die Überlegungen rund um den Contergan-Skandal mit einzubeziehen.
Immerhin hat die Fam. Wirtz inzwischen so viel Geld geschäffelt, dass sie ohne dass es ihnen weh tun würde, dafür sorgen könnte, dass ALLE Contergangeschädigten finanziell so weit abgesichert sind, dass sie ein menschenwürdiges Leben leben könnten und nicht verarmt dahin vegetieren müssten.
Nicht einmal die wichtigsten med. Versorgungen, Behandlungen und Medikamten sind drin, mit den Allmoosen, die man an die Opfer zahlt!

Ich verstehe die Welt nicht mehr, wenn nun zugelassen wird, dass die Taschen der Wirtz durch einen gewonnenen Prozess noch einmal mehr aufgefüllt werden würden und die OPFER dafür bestreft würden, dass sie sich für andere Opfer stark machen wollten.

Die Antwort hat vielleicht etwas zu tun mit der Tatsache, dass
einmal Merkel und Grünenthal davon komen können mit (once they can get away with)
der Tatsache, dass die Opfer nur etwas Geld, um zu überleben empfangen sollten
aber nicht berechtigt sind zur Schadloshaltung für den Schaden (not entitled to compensation for the damage),
dann können Merkel und Grünenthal mit allem (alles?) davon komen können (they can get away with everything).

DER WISSENSCHAFTLICHEN METHODE
The answer has perhaps something to do with the fact once one gets, like Keynes, the opportunity to get away with the fallacy that it is intuition, not ad-equation between the thing and the intellect from which knowledge then has to be inferred, which gives us knowledge of the Truth concerning the world around us, logic no longer provides the framework through which we filter common-sense data in order to arrive at an objective ?Truth? about ?Reality?.

Thalidomide was created by the Nazis.
Its origins go back to 1938 and one Frances Oldham Kelsey.
Thalidomide was marketed since 1957. Kelsey was only appointed to the US of A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) after the 30 April- 1 May 1960 Duesseldorf Congress of neurologists warning of the dangers of thalidomide.
In 1938 the name of Frances Oldham Kelsey, at the ripe old age of 24, appeared at the FDA in connection with the Elixir Sulfanilamide disaster.
Upon Kelsey feigning to ignore the April-May 1960 Duesseldorf Congress, US of A President John F. Kennedy honoured Kelsey in 1962 with a Presidential award for having saved his country from her product.
Now they are saying that thalidomide is useful in ophthalmology. Thanks to thalidomide, this thalidomide monster has serious ophthalmological problems. Hence, some ophthalmologists will do everything they can to prevent losing him as a paying guinea pig.

Every mother knows that her child should not play with a toy the child does not understand. The mechanism of the biological action of thalidomide is still being debated.
Human nature is constituted as such that some individuals who have inside knowledge about the effects of thalidomide will ‘always’ deliberately and unnoticeably cause the serious harm thalidomide can ‘so easily’ cause. They do that precisely because the damage is so serious to the mother and to the child and because they can do that so easily and without being noticed. It may be that ‘in clinical trials’, thalidomide is shown to be effective against many things. But ‘in real life’, it is given to unsuspecting girls. This can be reconciled with John Lennon if one remembers that thalidomide was created by the Nazis.
